Freese Elemetary School Gets A New Mural

The latest mural campaign is in full swing and I have now visited two elementary schools during the month of October. I am pleased to tell you that there are two more locations lining up for the month of November but I will not be dropping names due to the fact that I have no idea where I will find the time to make them happen.

This last project took place at Freese Elementary School in San Diego, California USA. I ended up entitling the piece “Self-Control” simply because on my first visit to the location I noticed various signs that read “We Practice Self Control.” And as you know, whatever I see and hear at the locations get translated into feelings and thus automatically transcribed onto the wall.

At this point I would like to give special thanks to Principal Shannon Lewis for believing in me and therefore allowing me to donate my talents to the school.

Once again I was able to incorporate the help of some of the student body to create the mural, an element that brings so many joys and interesting moments to the project.
